My brother, he was faithful
In wisdom he would say -
“The pale horse falters
Death scares no longer
The two horned draws near
Forget all fear”
But then it all kicked off
One Friday, two o’clock
They picked you up and I’ve not seen you in weeks, I worry
Timelapse this slow collapse
So tired of being entrapped
Change my name, shave my beard but every day it’s the same
High in Phoenician sky
I saw the alibi die
Four creatures circle above with many eyes
Riding the Eblaite air
Calling “enough is enough”
Four creatures circle above with many eyes
Rooms filled with smoke
Blood pressure rise
Lines of red are torn through
I need a line to find you
Words are bent on Straight Street
Lower me over those city walls
Marksmen are everywhere
Looking out on the square
This Spring feels like the worst winter we’ve had in years
We shot some video
Scenes that would not be shown
Think what you will but the devil’s in the pixels on my phone

almost can’t pick a favorite track. this ep has been dearly beloved to me for so long, i can’t do it justice in 500 characters. the feeling of deep, utter melancholy and mourning superimposed upon some kind of frantic energy, like a jackrabbit turning tail in midwinter, and the snowbanks are grim and endless. some of the most beautiful, haunting melodies & lyrics & everything i’ve ever heard. aceofcorvids
